Holiday Cheer in the OC
The holidays are looking a lot different this year. But there are ways to be in the holiday spirit and support local small businesses.
Need Holiday Treats??
French’s cupcake bakery has so many options.
Beautiful and yummy cupcakes and pastries. They also have the cutest cookies and they will individually wrap them for you as well so you can add them to any gift.
Balboa Island
Balboa is known for their amazing lights and Christmas decorations. The main st (Marine Ave)
If filled with locally owned shops and restaurants.
Grab something to go from The Village Inn
Or Crockers! My kids love their hot dogs and grilled cheese
Want to take the experience a little further and a little more private??
Rent a Duffy. Voyager is located right by the ferry. The Christmas lights from the water is absolutely stunning.
Lido Marina Village
Talk about atmosphere!!! You cannot go wrong here. It’s beautiful and full of shops and restaurants right on the water.
And Circle Hook
Are all great spots to grab cocktails and some food. There is an abundance of outdoor seating right on the water.
We always stop at Lido Village Books
It’s your old school small shop book store that makes you want to pull up a chair and hang out awhile.
Rogers is a beautiful outdoor nursery with an even more gorgeous Christmas boutique.
Every year I pick out something special from here and this is normally where I find my ornament for the annual ornament exchange.
Rogers Gardens also hosts a delicious farm to table restaurant called Farmhouse. This is one of our go to date night spots and it’s even more stunning during the holidays. Currently you can order to go and eat outside
I hope these few suggestions help spread Christmas cheer and spread love in our local community!
