Dry Shampoo for Stubborn Hair

Are you growing out a short haircut?

Have thick or curly hair?

All these things make it tough for a good blow out to last and if you’re like me, you despise a hair wash day! I’m currently growing out my bob (we’ll see how long that lasts) and in desperate need of a keratin treatment.

My nape constantly curls back up and my hair gets frizzy from sleeping and the steam from the shower. Dry Shampoo is my best friend! I can go 4 days and my hair looks perfect with these tips.

1. Divide the hair into sections after spraying in the dry shampoo. I’m using Batiste dry shampoo.

2. Flat wrap and re smooth out with a round brush. I prefer a boar bristle for less heat damage.

3. I do a quick touch up with a flat iron or throw in some curls.

4. Finally, I finish with my favorite dry shampoo paste from R&Co.

I often hear clients say they don’t love dry shampoo because of the white residue.

If you blow dry it in not only will it get rid of the residue it will also distribute any oil down the hair shaft, avoiding greasy roots.
