90’s Blowout Tutorial with the Dyson Airwrap

The 90’s are back in so many ways and that includes that big full blowout hairstyle.

The Dyson Airwrap makes it quick and easy to achieve that look

The blow dry attachment on the Airwrap is very powerful. It gets the moisture out quickly. I flatwrap my hair to smooth out my hairline and get the moisture out. I have a long curtain bang and I prefer using my favorite Ibiza boar bristle round brush to style it first.

My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy so I like to smooth it out first with the brush attachment. Notice how I brush the hair up and over to keep volume at my root.

The curling attachments have arrows on them. Those arrows indicate the air flow for the direction of the curls. You want the arrows to point away from your face. I am mainly using the curling attachment on the top layer and loosely on my ends to create that full tousled round brush look.

Notice the button I push up on each section, that is a cool set button to set the curl so your style lasts longer. The Airwrap is all about the air technology so if your hair is still a little damp when you start to use the curl attachment that is ok. Your hair should still be at least 85% dry though.

The curling technique will work on dry hair, but it might not last as well on certain hair types. My hair holds curls well so I don’t really notice a difference.
